PREVIOUS HORSES

Mally is a 36 inch tall 15 year old mini mare who came to us with severe ring bone and roach back. 

Mally has been laid to rest.

Old man Axle is a 15  hh sorrel gelding. The dentist aged him at 25+ years old. He struggles with neurological issues. 

Axle has been laid to rest.

Miss Macie is a 15 hh 6 year old halflinger cross mare that came to us very underweight and with a pelvis injury. 

Macie has been laid to rest.

Skipper is a 14.3 hh AQHA gelding. He is roughly 20 years old. He is a unique case and came to us with a bit of background. He is a retired reiner and was a kid's horse after his reining career. He is missing an eye, but that doesn't slow him down! He is the sweetest old man and so hard not to fall in love with. 

Skipper spent his last days here with us and is now at peace.

Old man Clay is a 14.1 hh sorrel gelding. We aren't quite sure how old he is, but he's definitely up there in age. He is as sweet as sugar. 

Clay has been laid to rest.

Sweet Boone is a 15.2 Sutton Branded Ranch Gelding and is approximately 16 years old. He came in underweight and needing some TLC. After x-rays with our vet we have determined that Boone will live out his days with us as long as he is comfortable. He has a prior knee fracture injury and some arthritis, making him unsound for riding.

Boone has been laid to rest.

Jelly is the smallest horse in our program at just 33 inches tall. She is 10 years old. She is a perfect companion horse and so cute! She can be nervous sometimes, but is sweet once you've spent some time with her. She does have some rotation in her coffin bones and requires regimented hoof trims and a forage only diet.
