PREVIOUS HORSES

Mally is a 36 inch tall 15 year old mini mare. She is very sweet but has some health challenges. Mally suffers from roach back and ring bone. 

Mally has been laid to rest at the recommendation of our vet due to advanced ringbone and melanoma. 

Old man Axle is a 15  hh sorrel gelding. The dentist aged him at 25+ years old.  He still has some spice though! He does have sway back and will not be suitable for riding. 

After further observation of our barn staff and vet it was found that Axel had advanced neurological symptoms and has been laid to rest. 

Miss Macie is a 15 hh 6 year old halflinger cross mare that came to us very underweight and with a pelvis injury. 

After further evaluation, it was found that her injuries were too much for her to bear and we made the decision to end her struggles.  

Macie has been laid to rest.

Skipper is a 14.3 hh AQHA gelding. He is roughly 20 years old. He is a unique case and came to us with a bit of background. He is a retired reiner and was a kid's horse after his reining career. He is missing an eye, but that doesn't slow him down! He is the sweetest old man and so hard not to fall in love with. 

Skipper spent his last days here with us and is now at peace.

Old man Clay is a 14.1 hh sorrel gelding. We aren't quite sure how old he is, but he's definitely up there in age. He is as sweet as sugar. 

Unfortunately, our board with the advice of our medical team, did have to make the call the lay Clay to rest. 

Clay has been laid to rest.

Sweet Boone is a 15.2 Branded Ranch Gelding and is approximately 16 years old. He came in underweight and needing some TLC. After x-rays with our vet we have determined that Boone will live out his days with us as long as he is comfortable. He has a prior knee fracture injury and some arthritis, making him unsound for riding.

Boone has been laid to rest.
