CURRENT RESIDENTS

Ivy is a 11 year old American Mustang gathered in 2017 from the Divide Basin HMA. She came to us with her newborn foal, Poppy, by her side. We are enjoying getting to know Ivy and her baby.

Poppy is a bay filly born to Ivy  just a couple of days before coming to us at the rescue. She was born 9/6/24. This spunky girl loves attention! She will be around 15 hh.

Fern is a 13 year old American Mustang gathered from the Pine Nut Mountain HMA in 2019. She is starting to blossom with us and is making strides in her journey to domestic horse life.

Oakley is a 17 year old buckskin roan American Mustang mare that came to us with her week old foal, Buttercup, at her side. She was rounded up from Devil's Garden, CA in 2018. We look forward to getting to know this duo!

Sage is a 13 year old  Buckskin American Mustang from Devil's Garden CA. She was heavy in foal when she arrived. She seems to be a little more accepting of humans than her counterpart, Oakley. We are very excited to get to know this pretty girl and her baby!

Arrow is a bay big boned mustang cross colt born to Sage here at the rescue on 7/24/24. He is going to be around 16 hh.

Hope is a yearling grade filly. We are working on building trust with her. She is very curious but also very nervous. 

Hope is in her rehab/training journey.

Muffin is a 3 year old mini gelding standing at just 33 inches tall. He is very sweet, but very scared. He is starting to blossom as he adjusts to life here on the farm and we can't wait to see him grow into the perfect little gentleman. 

Muffin will be available after some training and time just being a horse.

Burrito is a 8 year old standard donkey gelding. He is a BLM Burro, and is here with us for training. He was captured from the Black Mountain HMA. He is reserved, but curious and sweet.

Donut is a 6 year old standard donkey gelding. He is a BLM Burro, and is here with us for training. He was captured from the Black Mountain HMA. He is curious and sweet, and already knows humans give the best scratches.. 

Donut will be available after training.

Churro is a 7 year old standard donkey gelding. He is a BLM Burro, and is here with us for training. He was captured from the Ciablo Trigo HMA. He is reserved, but a little curious, too.

Crunch is a 8 year old standard donkey gelding. He is a BLM Burro, and is here with us for training. He was captured from the Ciablo Trigo HMA. He is reserved, but a little curious, too. 

Crunch will be available after training.

Possum is a 4 year old American Mustang mare from the Adobe Town HMA. She is with us for training. She is already halter broke and doing wonderfully!

Possum will be available after training.

Piglet is a 5 year old American Mustang mare from the Jackson Mountain HMA. She is with us for training. She is progressing well!

Piglet will be available after training.

Dolly is a 6 year old American Mustang mare from the Fifteenmile HMA. She is with us for training. She is very calm and sweet and we look forward to working more with her.

Jolene is a 9 year old American Mustang mare from the Jackson Mountains HMA. She is with us for training. She is a little more unsure than the younger girls, but has settled in well.

Chai is a 23 year old American Mustang mare from the Adobe Town HMA. She is with us for retirement. She is very unsure of people, but has settled into a routine well. 

Chai will be spending her days here with us.
